Zulkifli is an Indonesian documentary photographer. Many people call him as Zhu. He learn photography by himself since 2009. After becoming a photo contributor for Agence France Presse (2012) and European Pressphoto Agency (2013-2017), he began to become a freelance photographer. His project was selected as The Best Work in Permata Photojournalist Grant on March 2018. He is a co-founder of Sumatra Sumatra (collective documentary project about Sumatra), Sore Rabu Project (photography discussion class in West Sumatera), and Festival Director of Insumatra Photo Festival.
Today, he currently divide his time both in Sumatra and Jakarta, working on personal projects and taking assignments for editorial works and corporate.
